SURREY COUNTY BRIDGE ASSOCIATION

SIMULTANEOUS PAIRS INCLUDING THE DORIN SALVER COMPETITION
in aid of Charity

1. Simultaneous pairs events to be played twice year at EBU Affiliated Clubs.
2. Entry is open to all members of a club affiliated to the EBU and may play on each night.
3. Entries should be made direct to clubs.
4. Participating clubs will receive in invitational letter from the Surrey Organiser (currently Mr. Graham Wells) and must inform the organiser whether their club is taking part in this event and, if so, on which day(s) of the week.
5. Pre-duplicated boards will be played at each venue.There will be 5 set of hands for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
6. The results will be match-pointed over all the participating pairs for each night and master points and prizes will be awarded in proportion to the total number of pairs participating.
   
7. The Surrey President will present the overall winners of the September event with the Salver for the current year. Their names will be inscribed on the Salver.
   
8. The entry fee is £1.00 per player.
   
9. The Surrey CBA committee will nominate each year the charity to be the recipient for the event held early in the year and the Banstead Rehabilitation Centre will be the charity for the event held in September.
