NEWCOMERS PAIRS (NO FEAR)

Rules
  1. A pairs event for beginners and newcomers to duplicate bridge.
  2. Conventions within level 2 (as defined by the EBU) are permitted.
  3. Players need not be members of Surrey or members of the English Bridge Union.
  4. No player ranked above Master (5,000 local points) as of the 1st October of the current season may play in the competition and an entry from pairs who have won previously will not be accepted.
  5. Players should enter with a partner.
  6. Surrey smoking restrictions apply. Smoking at the tables is not permitted. There will be at least one short interval.

NEWCOMER TEAMS (NO FEAR TEAMS)

5. Players should enter as a team of four.
